Haven Nelson- Anna Ambercrombie

“Be grateful for everything you have.” – Haven Nelson

I got the chance to interview my hero Haven Nelson on one of her biggest trials, when her favorite brother got into a car crash.
It all started one morning when havens brother slid on a patch of ice into a snow plow going 40 mile per hour, his car was totaled. The ambulance took Eli to the hospital.
10 hours later. Haven was at a friend’s house when he mom unexpectedly called her and told her that Eli got into a car crash and she needed to go to the hospital. The doctor said that Eli would be okay. What made it so hard for her is that at home everyone was stressed because of the bills from the hospital.
They only way haven got through it was that she discovered that she was grateful for everything she had and learned how to help other people get through their hard times.
Haven Nelson defineately is a hero because she helps others, she doesn’t need a lot to make her happy.
I learned from haven to be grateful because everything could nearly be gone before you know it. Also helping others is a huge quality and I would say that helping others is the definition of a hero.
